Härtetest für Heart of Joy - Der BMW Vision Driving Experience
Fahrspaß bis an die Grenzen der Physik demonstriert die BMW Group mit ihrem neuen Hochleistungs-Testfahrzeug namens BMW Vision Driving Experience. Das Visionsfahrzeug, das bewusst keinen Serienbezug hat, fungiert hier als Test-Rig, als rollender Prüfstand für eine eigens für die Neue Klasse entwickelte Antriebs- und Fahrdynamikregelung, die bei BMW „Heart of Joy“ genannt wird. Auf dem BMW Performance Driving Center in Spartanburg stellte der Prototyp die Leistungsfähigkeit des neuen Steuergerätes „Heart of Joy“ in einem ultimativen Härtetest unter Beweis. Bei einer Preview gewährte das Unternehmen exklusive Einblicke in sein Entwicklungsprogramm für das elektrische Fahrerlebnis der nächsten Fahrzeuggeneration, der sogenannten Neuen Klasse. Jedes vollelektrische Fahrzeug der Neuen Klasse wird vom „Heart of Joy“ profitieren. Das erste elektrische hohe Derivat der Neuen Klasse wird noch dieses Jahr im Werk Debrecen (Ungarn) in Serienproduktion gehen. Die drei Charakteristika der Neuen Klasse, elektrisch, digital, zirkulär, werden mit dem neuen Zentralcomputer „Heart of Joy“ um eine vierte Dimension erweitert: Die BMW typische „Freude am Fahren“.
